Chocolate Fountain Toasty| For Mum – Part 2

As promised here is my toasty post part 2, especially for mum (hehe)! Toasties are a bit fancier than just a plain sandwich. They are warm, delicious and the combination of fillings you can try are endless. Sweet, savoury the choice is yours depending on your mood. My favourite is a sweet toasty… my gorgeous CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN TOASTY. Classic chocolate fountain dipping items all thrown together into a toasty, warmed and delicious! This is by far one of the most indulgent treats I have ever whipped together, well within 5 minutes anyway.

Choc Fountain Toasty

Makes 1 serving. Total preparation and cooking time: 5mins.

Ingredients

  • Margarine or butter
  • 2 x slices of white bread
  • Nutella chocolate spread
  • Handful of desiccated coconut
  • 1 small banana – sliced Marshmallows (optional)

Method

Spread a generous amount of butter or margarine on one slice of bread and place it butter side down on a plate.

Take a generous scoop of Nutella and spread it over the plain side of the bread. Sprinkle over the desiccated coconut and top with an even layer of the sliced banana.

Spread a generous amount of butter or margarine over the other slice of bread and place it on top of the banana layer (buttered side facing up).

Heat a frying pan on medium heat and place the whole toasty into the pan applying a little pressure to the top using a spatula. After 2mins flip the toasty over and cook on the other side.

When golden brown on both sides, remove from the frying pan, put your feet up and devour warm. Serve with a cheeky side of marshmallows.
